The Kazantip open-air summer music and dance festival has always been a major party event in Europe's clubbing scene. And for this reason alone, it is also referred to as "The Kazantip Republic". Held for the first time 14 years ago, the festival is one of the most popular events in Europe that now attracts more than 50, 000 people. Kazantip is not only a modern dance and music festival but also a way of life for many youngsters.
 
The 2006 event was a rousing success that saw the organizers pulling out all stops - 10 dance floors, the best DJs from Russia, Ukraine and around the world, and daily beach parties - with the ultimate aim to entertain party-lovers from all over. On August 1, revellers were welcomed to sample scrumptious MacChocolate products at a bar shaped like a spacecraft.
 
In addition to this great party, a new MacChocolate-WebCam programme was put on air everyday from 7 July - 28 August. Specially invited DJs include MIA form Odessa, Nina Kraviz from Moscow, Frio and Johan Faber from Germany, and Jenya Muse from St. Petersburg. There was also a Kazantip Fashion Week that attracted trendy crowds to Popovka village near Evpatoria since its official opening on 22 July.
 
With so many fun events happening, the Festival was no doubt, a rousing success.

Marvelicious MacChocolate Promotion in Moscow!

MacChocolate wet tasting was conducted in 19 largest Moscow supermarkets. About 6.5 thousand people sampled it during the promotion. Most consumers were excited about a winning concoction of fine cocoa, creamer and sugar. Positive consumer response was reflected via the good sales achieved during the promotional period.

MacChocolate Pleasures in St Petersburg

Location St Petersburg

During 2 days, 17 and 18 of February 2007, MacChocolate participated in celebration of Russian Maslenitsa in S-Petersburg. Our team performed MacChocolate out-door and in-door tasting at 10 Hypermarkets O'Key, the largest key-account in the City. During 2 days MacChocolate was tasted by about 8 700 people! The most of them bought MacChocolate straight after tasting.

Programme for Supporting Computer Training in Secondary Schools

In a bid to encourage participation in economic and cultural international processes in Ukraine, Food Empire believes that the situation where the existence of weak technical and technological facilities, including a lack of computers at Ukrainian educational institutions should be improved. Hence, one of its brands, MacChocolate led the way to launch "Programme for Supporting Computer Training in Secondary Schools" with a sponsorship of 10 ACER 1652 laptops, a projector and an interactive board to "Erudite" school at the beginning of the new academic year.
 
A high commission that included Food Empire's representatives, in particular, Company Director Mr Tan and Former Ambassador to Singapore, Mr Alexander Gorin selected "Erudite" out of an impressive list of candidates. The school was recognized as the best, having met the three requisite criteria - initiative of the management, students' performance, implementation of international educational standards.

Learning Chocolate Craft With MacChocolate

Locations Kiev, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odessa, Ukraine

Targeted at young people who fit into the 18 to 35 age group with an active lifestyle, this event was to further stimulate trial of MacChocolate, increase brand awareness and habituate consumers to the culture of drinking hot chocolate. Sampling booths for delicious MacChocolate were set up near various outlets and routes with maximum consumer traffic, such as universities, bus stops, metro stations, open markets and near supermarkets.
 
With their unique MacChocolate wind-stoppers and hats, MacChocolate promoters were easy to notice. Not forgetting their bags of samples to give away to curious passers-by!

Kazakhstan MacChocolate Sampling

Date 9 - 29 October 2006
Locations Major supermarkets of the 8 cities: Almaty, Astana, Aktobe, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Ust-kamenogorsk, Semey, Chimkent

About 55,000 people turned up to sample MacChocolate at special booths set up at numerous supermarkets across eight cities. The feedback received was positive and most people who tried the beverage eventually returned to the supermarkets to make MacChocolate purchases.
